OUR TEAM

SIMON DUAN

Simon joined the team at Hillview in September 2015 as the Pastor and one of the Elders. He also heads up the GATHER Ministry Team. Previously he had spent 13 years serving at a church in Kent. He is married to Natalie and they have two grown up children. He is passionate about Jesus and football - in that order!

STEPHEN MORTIN

As well as serving as an Elder, Stephen is also involved in leading worship. He is married to Sue with three grown up children. Stephen is a keen golfer when he is not working!

STEVE HUTCHINSON

Steve is an Elder and retired from working full time for Scripture Union at the end of 2021. Steve is also our Elder supporting Safeguarding. He and his wife Judy are foster carers. They have two grown up boys and Steve is passionate about helping children and young people discover Jesus.

ROB GAMSTON

Rob joined the team as an Elder in 2021. He is married to Claire and they have two grown up boys. He enjoys motorcycling and also spending time with his family. Rob’s desire is to share the promise of peace that comes from knowing Jesus and all that means.

Natalie is a primary school teacher and heads up our **GO Ministry Team**, looking at ways to help us share the love of Jesus with those outside our church.

Paulette is co-leader of the **GROW Ministry Team**, responsible for organising our small groups and pastoral care. She is married to Dave and they both love a good walk in the countryside.

Liza is co-leader of the **GROW ministry team** supporting us all to follow Jesus in every part of our lives. Liza has recently retired as a GP locally. She is always ready for a cup of tea!

LIZ FOSTER

Liz leads our CHILDREN’S Ministry Team. She is passionate about teaching children the truths of God’s word. Liz and her husband Rob have two children who are now young adults themselves!

DAVE

Dave heads up our YOUTH Ministry Team. He enjoys serving the young people and helping them to develop their own faith. In his free time he enjoys cooking and spending time with his family.

Naomi has been employed since April 2022 as our FAMILY WORKER and heads up our ministry to families within the church and local community. Naomi and her husband Mike have 2 children.
